Bittersweet camp
Im back from camp. Before i start off, i want to announce that i saw students (sec 3/sec4) entering the camp when we were leaving. Wonder if YQ is included in? Will upload the pics someday later.

DAY 1
Pitched tents. I almost faint from it because the sun was super scorching. Even Fel was asking: You alright anot? Look so pale."

That, would be probably because of that freaking sun. I swear i never hate sun so much before.

Split the class into two groups: The Greatest and The Chio Bu's. I was in the second team and it was the guys' ideas to put chio bu's as our group name.

Did the Magic Finger. Our team managed to get the tyre out and in the 2metre high pole. The other team did not but they were better in us when it comes to decorating the majong paper.

Played Turn Over A New Leaf. The game where all of us stand on a mat and we have to flip it over to the other side without touching the ground. There are many ways to solve it but that day's idea was the worst.

XX told me that Sec1 camp they way we did it was to fold the corners of all sides. But now, our idea was to jump. Jumped and jumped and jumped. It took really long to finish the challenge so please dont ever use this method - it wears you out.

Food was okay. We did the Blindman's trail at night. We had to blindfold ourselves, hold on the the front person's shoulder and follow. I can tell you that, all the obstacles are fake, and i lost my torchlight. I put it inside my pocket but i think i drop it when i squat and walk.

Dad is really unhappy about it because the torchlight costs $30 and it will have to deduct from my pocket money. Oh, whatever.

Slept inside the tent. I was the worst, sleeping on the board where people stepped onto and its quite wet.

DAY 2
River crossing. The 'Milo Pond' is really disgusting. Its filled with mud, soil, sand and all the gross stuff you can think of. Everyone has to wade into the river and pull yourself to the other end while floating on the life jacket.

XX went before me. When i went down, i slipped and fell into the pond and screamed WTF. Lucky i didnt topple my whole body into it and that no teachers are instructors mind that i spoke vulgar.

I didnt mean to say it but i just blurted out. Obviously everyone heard me shouting because Fel was like uh-oh. Lols. I never ever said F in my whole life before, i swear. I thought i was stepping on something stable when the sand just crumbled and the water splashed. I was totally terrified that i spoke the wrong language.

I didnt float across the river but just walked. If i float, my whole body will be wet leh!

Came up and felt sand squishing in my shoe. DISGUSTING okay? Next was R.A.T There were a class infront of us and they were all muddy. From their clothes to their pants and to their shoes. Super gross!

Again, we divide into the two groups and the other group went first. R.A.T is about running 1.5 km, going through the obstacles with a 10kg stretcher and back. They took about 19 minutes and when they were back, all of them were covered in mud.

So, its our turn to take off. First obstacle was to climb over the low wall. We did that really fast and threw over the stretcher. Ran and ran until we came to the mud. We baby crawl through the mud - and that wasnt the worst. The worst was up right ahead and you have to do leopard crawl.

The were strings on top of the ground (like razers) and you have to use your elbows, push yourself in the mud and get it done. Valerie was infront of me and she kept on kicking my hands which made it hard for me to crawl. When i shouted for her to stop kicking, she actually used her muddy shoes to kick my face, accidentally. From the moment onwards, i gave up on asking her to stop kicking.

And just like that, im the only girl with mud on her face. The wet mud stinks and you can feel it all over your body when you're done. Sticky, smelly and disgusting. I didnt even bother to wipe the mud of because its totally impossible when every inche of my body is covered with it.

We managed to beat the history record with an awesome 13 minutes. I dont know about the rest who did the R.A.T after me but the instructor told us that. Super proud of it. Miss Huang was unhappy though because she thinks that we didnt put in teamwork.

Which we did. I was one of the few firsts so i stood waiting for the stretcher to come and help the boys carry abit. But Uncle Janan insists on the girls running first and we did. I mean, all of us really want to win badly but we were caught between our consience against the guys so when someone scream at us to go, we ran.

But we still got the best results :DD

We also did the Tyre Tunnel, where i got stung by some kind of insect. It hurt alot and i was grabbing my knee while holding on to the tyre. It wasnt till a few minutes later that the pain stop.

I never love the sun so much before that day because it was drying the mud on our shirts. This time, we went to the milo pond again and we requested it. Sure its dirty but right then, nothing can be more dirtier than us and what all of us want to do is take a dip in the water.

So we went for the slide. Its fun..and dirty but i think it was worth it. Went for lunch in this state: wet, muddy and gross. There is this huge brown patch on my shirt all because of the mud.

Come to think of it, at first, all of us were reluctant to get into the pond or mud but after we gone through the whole thing, i felt that its pretty cool after all.

Was supposed to do the Saribum challenge after lunch but it rained so we did our campfire cheer instead. So cute and funny, i tell you!

Campfire was nice at first but i was really tired so i didnt get to enjoy it to the fullest. The starting of the fire was something i never seen before. They threw the sparkles into the middle of a circle made up of wood. At first, it was all smoke but later, sparkles shoot up and it was really beautiful.

Love the shark family.

Bathe and went to sleep. Fel was speaking sick subjects which made us laughed until people from other tents came in and ask us to be quiet. Slept at around 12.40

DAY 3
Woke up and Fel was complaining that i kicked her last night. She said that when she opened her eyes, she saw my feet on her body. Opps, sorry :p

The usual stuff and i threw away my muddy shoes because its impossible to make it clean again. Clean up, share ghost stories and took photos before finally leaving. In the bus, Janelle and the rest were irratating. They took photos of people sleeping (inclusive of me) which is really childish.

Invasion of privacy sia.

Reached home and i had a hard time bathing. Both my feet consists of brown patches because of the mud. I had to scrub scratched it under water before its clean again. Camp was a fun torture but i kinda miss the instrutors.

Especially Uncle Janan because i cant help but to laugh everytime i think of him doing the eugene green frog action. Oh man! I never mentioned this before but Uncle Janan was Felicia's (an ex-classmate) uncle and the Felicia is Fel's best friend. Both of them are call Felicia which made it more funny.

We called him Uncle Janan (because he really is an uncle after all) and he acted offended. Aiya, he's only 26 this year so he isnt that old except that we are 11 years younger than him, thats all!

Sighs* Its back to studying. And home sweet home.
