Boston

Quiet and deserted. The only sound that was made was the waves crashing against the shore. The wind constantly blew. There on the beach, sat a girl with her guitar. Modern bangs framed her face perfectly, as so were her other features. Silky hair ran down her shoulders but were tangled up because of the wind. Her hazel eyes were beautiful but at the same time, looked lost. The eyes glanced towards the horizon as her hands began to dance on the guitar. The way she looked was so focus might have taken anyone's attention for it was such a beautiful sight.

But admist the beauty, you could probably sense some frustration, worn-out, depression and confusion. Her life was just as lost as her hands were strumming the strings aimlessly. She was indeed, unhappy. The guitar was just a mere form of leisure that comforted her when nobody does. It soothe her feelings and released everything that she had bottled up in her heart. Then, she heard a familiar tune that her fingers were strumming to. Maybe its because the million of times she had played this over and over again that she began to play the song even when she is not thinking about it.

In the light of the sun, is there anyone? Oh it has begun...
Oh dear you look so lost, eyes are red and tears are shed,
This world you must've crossed...

And how many times had she cried? Her life was a mess and she was wondering if there is anyone who would willing to save her from the troubles. The world, she realised, was just a cruel place.

You said...You don't know me,
You don't even care, oh yeah,
She said
You don't know me, and you don't wear my chains...
Oh yeah,

Nobody knows her. Nobody cares. Not even her family. Her friends said they understand her but do they? Have they gone through what she has? Nobody knows how she feels, nobody.

Essential yet appealed, carry all your thoughts across
An open field,
When flowers gaze at you...
They're not the only ones who cry
When they see you

Her life was so horrible that it scarred her face. Maybe thats what everone feels sorry for. Her thoughts run wild, so huge and big, like a field. Unfortunanetly, the field was not an open one. The thoughts are just trapped inside.

She said I think I'll go to Boston...
I think I'll start a new life,
I think I'll start it over, where no one knows my name,
I'll get out of California, I'm tired of the weather,
I think I'll get a lover and fly em out to Spain...

Her life is torn apart. She wants to start all over again. She wants to be unknown. Maybe she will be happier if she goes to a new place... She just need a lover, who would shower care and attention on her. Maybe.

I think I'll go to Boston,
I think that I'm just tired
I think I need a new town, to leave this all behind...
I think I need a sunrise, I'm tired of the sunset,
I hear it's nice in the Summer, some snow would be nice... oh yeah,

Worn-out was just what she was. Memories of the past, they were all just to hurtful to even think about. Her mind was full of negative thoughts. She wants to get rid of them, but they refused to budge!

You don't know me, you don't even care...
Boston... where no one knows my name... yeah
Where no one knows my name...
Where no one knows my name...
Yeah Boston...
Where no one knows my name.

Light shone onto her eyes. She blocked it with her hands. For a moment, she thought she was on stage, perfoming and the spotlight was on her. But as she opens her eyes, she was hit back to Earth. The sun was setting and the light is blinding her eyes. Tears rolls down her cheeks as she wiped it carelessly away. She stood up, picked up her guitar and wore the happy mask that she use to face people. She turned and look back at the horizon once more, then left trails of footsteps in the sand...
